UMT-CONNECTED - Official Website Launch

UMT-CONNECTED, formally known as eUMT, has officially launched the eLearning website.

We appreciate the continuous support from OCM and OTS team as they have played a significant role in making this goal achievable. We are highly grateful for their support, as well as senior leadership at UMT for providing their endorsements for this initiative.

You may now access our updated website located at the following address:

The website currently serves the sole purpose of educating teachers and students about online/blended education, raise awareness about the importance of online education and what to expect from UMT in terms of online courses, certificates and degree programs, etc. for the future.

Please visit it to specifically check out the "Faculty" and "Students" sections and give us your valuable feedback.

Kindly note that since UMT has not developed any academic online courses yet, awaiting HECs regulatory approval, the website has not listed any courses unlike the websites of other universities. Although you may access our sample courses.

As you review our website, kindly keep the following questions in your mind:

1. In particular, do you feel that the website provides useful information to inform students about what is online education and what are its benefits?

2. Do you think the website provides with the necessary resources to be successful as an online student?

3. Does the website provide you, as a faculty member, useful information for online learning and education?

4. Do you find online readiness check information useful to what it takes to develop online courses?

5. Do the FAQs section answer all of your queries regarding online education and online course development process?

Please kindly share your valuable feedback via email before Friday, June 21st, 2019 so that we may launch it to the rest of the UMT community and beyond.

We look forward to hearing from you and your active participation in this initiative.
